Community Acupuncture & Chair Massage

Have you wanted to experience an acupuncture treatment but are intimidated by the costs? Want to relax with a chair massage after work?
Stop by the Madonna House Apothecary on Feb 19th from 4 to 7 pm
What is community acupuncture?
Community acupuncture is a form of acupuncture performed in a group setting, usually in comfortable chairs rather than massage tables.
Do I have to undress in front of people?
Unlike private sessions where the abdomen and back are often inspected or needled, in community acupuncture, only the portions of the body from elbows to fingers and knees to toes are needled.
Is it effective?
Yes! Since all the meridians that transverse the body eventually end at the fingertips and toes, needling the outer extremities is very effective for a whole host of conditions. This technique is called channel needling.
How much does it cost?
Community acupuncture uses a sliding scale from 15-40 traditionally.
